ALOHA! And welcome to another installment of Fun with Dee. Today and I know I am a day late very-very sorry about that, we have with us Nicole Morgan.

Let’s get to know Nicole a little better: I am an author of erotic romance.  I write my books to both inspire and tantalize the reader.  And while I believe in happily ever after, I also feel strongly about making my characters fight for their love and overcome all obstacles.  My ultimate goal is that with every page turned I am bringing passion to life.

1. Where do you like to go to have fun? Crazy.  What?  Oh okay, a serious answer.  Um…miniature golf?
2.  What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh? Reading an email from a good friend from Australia.
3. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Wow…did you plan these questions in order?  Australia.  It’s beautiful there.
4. What is your all time favorite comedy movie?  All time?  That’s hard, but most of the National Lampoons Vacation movies are good for a laugh or two.
5. What song always makes you happy when you hear it?  ‘I Will Survive’ by Gloria Gaynor
6. What was your favorite sitcom growing up?  I don’t know that I had a favorite.  I did like…wait a minute.  This is a trick.  You think if I tell you it will tell you how old I am.  Uh uh, not falling for it honey.
7. What favorite food puts you in a great mood?  I love Spinach Pizza.  I actually prefer it over the traditional pizzas with sausage and pepperoni.
8. Who’s the funniest person you know?  *nervous from Dee’s glare* Um…Dee Shore? ***LMAO! The best answer I’ve received***
9.  What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex?  That’s a tough one.  I am tempted to say it’s the eyes, but I wonder if it isn’t the mouth.  Sometimes a smile can make all the difference. 
10. What music are you listening to right now? Nickelback.  I am most often rock, a little bit of country.  *Dee jumps up and starts singing*   “Hey, it’s like that Donnie and Marie song.  I’m a little bit of Country, I’m a little bit of Rock N Roll” 
11. How is the weather right now?  It’s windy as all heck and I think, hang on just a second….yep, I thought so.  Toto and Dorothy just flew by.
12. What is the wallpaper on your cell phone?  Don’t have one.  What?  Who says I have to have one?  Fine!  It’s a picture of Brad Ausmus (catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers) with his shirt off holding a surf board.  What?  It’s athletic.
13. What do you have handy at your bedside?  Really?  Ahem….next question please.
14. Grilled or Fried?  Grilled, definitely grilled.
15. Are you afraid of the dark?  No.  Why are you turning out the lights?
16. Three things you cannot live without? Cellphone, books, some other things we won’t mention here.

18. What 1 thing would you take with you on a deserted island?  A boat of course.
19. Favorite TV commercial?  I like those Sports Center commercials.

21. What did you want to be when you were a kid?  A grown up.  Go ahead, ask me what I want to be as a grown up.
22. Do you still have your tonsils?  Yes I do.  What are you doing?  Get that flashlight away from me.  What?  Can’t you just trust that I’m telling you the truth?
23. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?  No.  Do you? ***I wanted you to untie mine for me lol!***
24.  Which you favorite ice cream flavor?  Anything with caramel in it.
25. If you were a crayon what color would you be?  Oooh, good question.  Um…silver.
26. Which are your favorite smells?  Fresh baked bread. 
27. Do you like people with green eyes?  Um…yes?  *stares nervously at Dee’s intense green eyes* ***I think you are the first person that’s caught on to this question LMAO!!!***
28. Do you like scary movies or comedy movies more?  Oooh, definitely scary movies.  Love them!
29. What is on your mouse pad?  A monster…ahem…I mean my beautiful and delightfully well behaved daughter.
30. Would a fly without wings be called a walk?  Ha ha ha ha….next question.
31. Why do they lock gas station bathrooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them?   I don’t know, but your question sheds light on why we needed to hold this interview at Phillips 66.
32. If the police arrest a mime, do they tell him he has the right to remain silent?  If the police arrest a girl named Miranda do they have to read her the Miranda rights? Or does she already know them? 
33. Why do they put Braille on the drive-through bank machines?  Because they assume you’re like most drivers and can’t see what’s right in front of you.
34. How do they get the deer to cross at that yellow road sign?  They don’t honey.  They cross the road, near the sign. 
35. What was the best thing before sliced bread?  Whole loaf bread? 
36. Could it be that all those trick-or-treaters wearing sheets aren’t going as ghosts but as mattresses?  Or could it be that they’re really ghosts disguising themselves as trick-or-treaters?  
37. Why don’t you ever see the headline Psychic Wins Lottery?  Because they already know it’s going to happen.  It’s old news at that point. 
38. Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called “rush hour”?  Because the smart ones know that if they are stuck in traffic they will be forced to pick up dinner rather than have to go home and cook and do dishes. 
39. Do vegetarians eat animal crackers?  I don’t know.  Do animals eat vegetarian crackers? 
40. If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn?  Um…no color?  Because it’s a cartoon and not real.  You do know that right? ***GASP! You mean they are not!?***

1. Where do you like to go to have fun? I’d say mostly in the mountains, puttering around historical areas and digging into the past. Anywhere there is nature and few people.
2. What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh? Laughing at my kitten hanging 20 in a tree—sound asleep with feet dangling while straddling a branch. You’ve got to love a cat that can relax that much anywhere.  I grabbed my camera and finally took a picture of him this morning.  He does it daily!
3. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Scotland, definitely.  My family comes from there and I’ve always wanted to visit.  Next would be New Orleans. I’ve been, and have wanted to go back ever since. 
4. What is your all time favorite comedy movie? Oh boy, that’s a tough question, there are so many good ones!  I’d have to say Galaxy Quest is one of my favorites.  I just love corny, and they do it so well. 
5. What song always makes you happy when you hear it? I think it’s called Da Ba Dee (or The Blue Song).  It has the weirdest video that goes along with it.  I annoy my husband and kids by singing it very loudly and off-key until it worms its way into their heads and won’t get out.  I’m just a wonderful person, aren’t I?  LOL 
6. What was your favorite sitcom growing up? I Dream of Jeannie.  Give me a blonde ponytail, a sexy resistant man, and some magic.  Who could want more than that?  
7. What favorite food puts you in a great mood? Crab legs!  Yum.  I don’t get them often, maybe once a year or even less, but they’re my favorite addiction.
8. Who’s the funniest person you know? Probably Chris at Rosa Romance Publishing.  It is insane when we get on the phone together.  I have to go outside to get a signal on my cell phone, and I swear the neighbors up and down the valley can hear me laughing my head off every time.  She’s definitely a crack-up, and a woman very familiar with the twisted way my brain works 
9. What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex? Probably his face.  The smile, eyes, attitude, they all have to work together to get me to notice someone.  I don’t really care about the ‘model-type handsome’.  I want someone I can snuggle up to at night and who shakes his head at my stupid jokes and holds me when I cry.  What other measure of a man should there be?  
10. What music are you listening to right now? Nothing at the moment, but I was listening to my daughter singing Karaoke earlier.  Yes, I join in.  No, I’m not good.  No, I won’t sing for you. No matter how much you beg.  
11. How is the weather right now? Too bloody hot!  It’s clear, about 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and the yellow jackets are out in force.  Therefore, I am inside with the air blowing.  
12. What is the wallpaper on your cell phone? How fun! I LOVE this question!  My wallpaper is a short video of three of my four children, waving and laughing at the phone.  Everyone loves it and steals my phone just to watch them over and over.  
13. What do you have handy at your bedside? *blushing*  Is that something a lady usually tells?  
14. Grilled or Fried? Fried, baby! All the way.  
15. Are you afraid of the dark? Nope!  I’m a night owl and love the dark. It’s when my creativity and imagination come out to play.
16. Three things you cannot live without? I guess I’m going to show what a techno-geek I am: Computer, Internet, Cell Phone  
17. Favorite song? Everything by Michael Bublé  
18. What ONE thing would you take with you on a deserted island? It depends on if they had electricity, air conditioning and internet!  Just because it’s deserted doesn’t mean it has to be uncivilized. 
19. Favorite TV commercial? I have one word for you:  TiVo.  
20. What are the things you always take with you? Cell phone, camera pack (digital slr, lenses, charger, etc.), kids, husband
21. What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be a vet.  Couldn’t hack working on kitties, though. I like them too much.
22. Do you still have your tonsils? *turning eyes around inside head to look*  Yep, they’re still there.
23. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Oh no.  Do people actually do that?
24. Which you favorite ice cream flavor? Rocky Road
25. If you were a crayon what color would you be? Bright violet blue!
26. Which are your favorite smells? Orange blossoms on the tree, jasmine on the vine, a roast cooking in the oven, and my little girl’s hair just after she’s had a bath.
27. Do you like people with green eyes? Absolutely!  My sister-in-law has green eyes.  We always attribute lucky parking spaces (ie: close to the front door) to her thinking of us. She has uncanny luck getting parking spots.  So we thank “Aunt Casey” every time we find a good spot.
28. Do you like scary movies or comedy movies more? Definitely comedy, although I love a good scare, too.
29. What is on your mouse pad? My mouse.
30. Would a fly without wings be called a walk? Would a writer without sleep be coherent?  If you find out the answer to either question, let me know!
31. Why do they lock gas station bathrooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them? They’re probably afraid the little smudge monsters they’re cloning in their might escape.
32. If the police arrest a mime, do they tell him he has the right to remain silent?  That’s a good question.  But if he’s cute, can anything he say with his hands be held against me? I’ll do without the court of law, though.
33. Why do they put Braille on the drive-through bank machines? For the blind drivers, of course.  Equality and all that.  I don’t think it bothers them a bit.  Now the passengers might have an issue or two . . . once they pry their fingers from the door frames.
34. How do they get the deer to cross at that yellow road sign? I live in the country, and we have deer running across the road all the time here.  The secret is the timing.  The deer lies in wait by the side of the road until an unsuspecting car drives along.  Then he runs in leaps and bounds, certain to be caught in the headlights with “that look” (they practice it in the mirror from the time they’re little deerlings).  You do realize the Secret Service has an undercover agency specifically made to run after the sneaky deer on the highways and stick up the sign as soon as they start running, don’t you?  No?  For shame!  Big Brother would be mortified.
35. What was the best thing before sliced bread? Pterodactyl Airlines.  My father used to fly with them all the time before I was born.  Great customer service, but the exhaust was horrible.
36. Could it be that all those trick-or-treaters wearing sheets aren’t going as ghosts but as mattresses? I think you may be on to something.  I’ve never seen a ghost with either a sheet or a mattress on, so it’s worth further investigation!
37. Why don’t you ever see the headline Psychic Wins Lottery? Because they’ve already done it. They just haven’t told you.
38. Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called “rush hour”? Sarcasm.
39. Do vegetarians eat animal crackers? Do herbivores eat vegetarians?

If you are 30 or older you will think this is hilarious!!!!

When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were. When they were growing up; what with walking Twenty-five miles to school every morning….

Yadda, yadda, yadda

And I remember promising myself that when I grew up, there was no way in hell I was going to lay a bunch of crap like that on my kids about how hard I had it and how easy they’ve got it!

But now that… I’m over the ripe old age of thirty, I can’t help but look around and notice the youth of today.

You’ve got it so easy! I mean, compared to my childhood, you live in a damn Utopia! And I hate to say it, but you kids today, you don’t know how good you’ve got it!

I mean, when I was a kid we didn’t have The Internet. If we wanted to know something, we had to go to the damn library and look it up ourselves, in the card catalogue!!

There was no email!! We had to actually write somebody a letter – with a pen! Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the mailbox and it would take, like, a week to get there! Stamps were 10 cents!

Child Protective Services didn’t care if our parents beat us.. As a matter of fact, the parents of all my friends also had permission to kick our ass! Nowhere was safe!

There were no MP3′ s or Napsters! If you wanted to steal music, you had to hitchhike to the damn record store and shoplift it yourself! Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the DJ would usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up! There were no CD players! We had tape decks in our car We’d play our favorite tape and “eject” it when finished and the tape would come undone. Cause – that’s how we rolled, dig?

We didn’t have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you were on the phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal, that’s it! And we didn’t have fancy Caller ID either! When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It could be your school, your mom, your boss, your bookie, your drug dealer, a collections agent, you just didn’t know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister!

We didn’t have any fancy Sony Playstation video games with high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With games like ‘Space Invaders’ and ‘Asteroids’. Your guy was a little square! You actually had to use your imagination!! And there were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen… Forever! And you could never win.. The game just kept getting harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE!

You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was on! You were screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off your ass and walk over to the TV to change the channel! NO REMOTES!!!

There was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I’m saying!?! We had to wait ALL WEEK for cartoons, you spoiled little brats!

That’s exactly what I’m talking about! You kids today have got it too easy. You’re spoiled. You guys wouldn’t have lasted five minutes back in 1980′s or before!

Aloha! Today in Fun With Dee my victim of the week is Adrianne Brennan. Thank you Adrianne for being here today!

A little about Adrianne: Adrianne Brennan stumbled into her love of writing by accident at the tender age of ten when she was given a creative writing assignment for her science class. The end result was her writing a brief science fiction comedy featuring numerous puns regarding vegetables. Once the writing bug bit, it bit pretty hard, and from the age of fourteen onwards she worked on a lengthy fantasy novel.

At this time, this fantasy novel is still a work in progress as she continues to focus on her other works. Currently available is the Dark Moon series featuring her recently published work, Blood of the Dark Moon featuring vampires, magick, secret societies, and romance as well as her novella in the same series, Blood and Mint Chocolates.

An avid reader, Adrianne has been most influenced by various science fiction and fantasy authors including Madeleine L’Engle, Roger Zelazny, Laurell K. Hamilton, LA Banks, Yasmine Galenorn, Michael Ende, Neil Gaiman, and Alan Moore. Like her main character from Blood of the Dark Moon, she professes a love for Iamblichus and Greek philosophy.

How about we get to know a little about PA: Born in one of the coldest cities in Canada Pat escaped at 22, fleeing to Los Angeles. Her adventures there led to L.A. Heat and all its progeny.

She wrote her first book at 17. She read her first positive gay book then, The Lord Won’t Mind, by Gordon Merrick, and had her eyes opened. After holding a host of jobs, at 40 she went back to school and became a Network engineer, which eventually landed her on the shores of Bermuda where she spent 2 years learning how to drink rum swizzles and battle hurricanes. Back in Canada, she buckled down and started producing books seriously resulting in a multitude of books coming out in the next year.

1. Where do you like to go to have fun? The beach, A pub, A movie
2. What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh? Having a few drinks with my writers group.
3. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Australia and New Zealand
4. What is your all time favorite comedy movie? National Lampoon’s Animal House
5. What song always makes you happy when you hear it? Baba O’Riley by The Who. Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones (what can I say, weird things make me happy)
6. What was your favorite sitcom growing up? MASH – does that count? If not, All in the Family
7. What favorite food puts you in a great mood? Pizza. Cheese fondue.
8. Who’s the funniest person you know? Robin Williams
9. What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex? Their chest, especially if it’s bare.
10. What music are you listening to right now? The River by Good Charlotte
11. How is the weather right now? Sunny with clouds. Very humid.
12. What is the wallpaper on your cell phone? The city of Los Angeles skyline

28. Do you like scary movies or comedy movies more? Probably comedies more. Very few movies scare me. Most are just gross, slasher films and those bore me. But if you can make me laugh, I’m all yours.

31. Why do they lock gas station bathrooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them? The evidence would suggest so. If so, it’s highly successful.

1. Where do you like to go to have fun?  I tend to go to dogshows for fun, that’s a good way of escaping my everyday existence. I also like to check out historical towns and cities.
2. What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh? This is gross, but Pai Mei (my Siberian Husky) had caught a mouse and danced into the living room with it. She tossed it into the air, I screamed, the mouse took off running, and Pai was streaking around, knocking over furniture looking for the critter. It was a sad ending for the mouse, but hysterically funny while it lasted.
3. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Hmmm….I’ve been to a lot of places, but I’d really love to visit Pompeii and Herculaneum. In fact a long trip through Italy would be very nice. I’m a bit of a history geek.
4. What is your all time favorite comedy movie? Boy, that’s a tough one, it depends on my mood. There’s a Scottish film called ‘Comfort and Joy,’ about rival Italian fish and chip vendors having a turf war in a Scottish city. The hero is just so hapless. Also, almost anything with Stephen Chow is hysterically funny. (He’s a Hong Kong based comedian) My favorite is ‘King of Beggers.’ I followed him down the street in Kowloon City, till he got scared and went into a police station.
5. What song always makes you happy when you hear it? ‘Songs From the Wood’ by Jethro Tull, and Reasons to be Cheerful by Ian Drury and the Blockheads.
6. What was your favorite sitcom growing up? I was a TV deprived child, so we didn’t watch much. We got a half-hour a day, but I do remember seeing Gilligan’s Island re-runs.
7. What favorite food puts you in a great mood? Pepperoni Pizza, a good steak, and chocolate ice cream sundaes.
8. Who’s the funniest person you know? A woman named Terri, though I don’t think she’d appreciate me thinking that she’s funny.  
9. What is the first thing you notice in the opposite sex? Happy eyes and a nice smile. Then I check out his ass.
10. What music are you listening to right now? Dr John’s album, ‘Dis, Dat or De Other.’
11. How is the weather right now? Sunny and hot, though not painfully hot. There’s an awful lot of smoke in the sky.
12. What is the wallpaper on your cell phone? Can’t remember, I don’t use it often. Wait…it’s a sailboat.
13. What do you have handy at your bedside? Water, lotion, a bowl of money, a candle and my laptop.
14. Grilled or Fried? What are we eating?
15. Are you afraid of the dark? Only when my eyes are open.
16. Three things you cannot live without? My computer, one or more Siberian Huskies, and my pick-up truck.

21. What did you want to be when you were a kid? A veterinarian or a jockey.

28. Do you like scary movies or comedy movies more? I like Japanese horror movies and Chinese or Korean comedies. So it just depends on my mood.
29. What is on your mouse pad? Nothing, its clear plastic.
30. Would a fly without wings be called a walk? No, it’d be a wardrobe malfunction. Sometimes it happens to guys during a dance number.
31. Why do they lock gas station bathrooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them?  No, they lock them so people like me get completely humiliated after waiting a half-hour before another customer comes along and lets themselves in with the key.

Aloha and welcome to another edition of Fun With Dee. Today we have the lovely Mila Ramos with us today.

How about getting to know Mila a little bit better? Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I’m as eclectic as my background and diverse as the music in my Ipod. My passions are chemistry, reading, writing, music, coffee, sports (especially when some of it is explained to me), Italy and taking great pride in those that are enjoying life right along with me. I have been writing for as long as I can remember, just didn’t know at the time that it was considered a style of being.

Though I do get caught up in the day to day life to things, I still come back to my love of writing.  Paranormal is the genre I love to be an anything mixed with it, is pretty alright with me. Getting my latest books are a feat of time management but the stories are there and the books will be written just going to take a bit of time to get there. I currently live in Texas and though the city isn’t pinned down, I love the state that I’m in….figuratively and literally.

1.  Where do you like to go to have fun?  Pretty much anywhere. Either Barnes and Nobles, at home watching TV, hanging out with friends, going to different places; arboretium, aquarium, museum…doesn’t matter.
2. What were you doing the last time you really had a good laugh? I was hanging out last night with some friends having some great strawberry daquiris and pizza, playing gin.
3. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Italy, italy, italy.
4. What is your all time favorite comedy movie? Talladegah Nights…..”don’t you put that evil on me ricky bobby.”
5. What song always makes you happy when you hear it?  “You make me smile” by Blue October. That beat just literally makes me want to dance.
6. What was your favorite sitcom growing up? Ooh uhm….Cosby Show, Growing Pains, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
7. What favorite food puts you in a great mood? Chinese, bring on the California rolls and I’m your girl.
8. Who’s the funniest person you know? All my friends, they are all silly and crazy in their own ways. But my younger brother tops the chart. He is literally a character meant for TV
